The proposal should be submitted in paper format, following the ACM TAPS workflow guidelines, even if it is for a poster of emerging research. Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct.

Should the proposal formatting be one or two columns? ACM guidelines mention a two-column output.

Please make your submission in the two-column format.

Are there any specific requirements or topics we must address for emerging research proposals?

No, as long as it’s relevant to AI research having been or being undertaken in a UKRI-funded project.

Can images or chart flows be included at this stage? If so, should they be incorporated within the text? Or can we include them as appendix?

Pictures and flow charts can be included either in the body or as an appendix.
